3D Fuel PLA vs Pro PLA

A common question that gets asked is “Which filament should I buy?”. Both 3D Fuel PLA and Pro PLA are excellent filaments but the answer to this question is “It depends”. Each filament has its own use case.

Standard PLA is the most popular because you can use it to make just about anything. It can be used to print toys or ornaments like a Baby Yoda or can be used to make more functional items like a phone holder and headphone stands. PLA is still a strong plastic and can be very durable if printed correctly.

Pro PLA is suited as more of an engineering type filament where you need high impact resistance or heat resistance. Parts requiring to fit together like a nut and a screw or joints on a mask that must align afterward when assembling. This filament was made with precision in mind and high durability is a must. 3D Fuels Pro PLA impact toughness and heat resistance surpasses even ABS but with the benefits of printing PLA filament. It’s easy to use and most important is that it is non-toxic. ABS should be vented outside because the fumes are very harmful and dangerous if exposed to for long periods of time. Making things like a mask for cosplay, a pod for your turbo boost gauge or a hanger to hold your shovel in the garage look no further than 3D Fuels Pro PLA.
