LDO Nitehawk-SB v2
The LDO Nitehawk-SB v2 is a redesigned toolhead PCB built for the Voron Stealthburner. It keeps the same general form factor as the original Nitehawk-SB, but the circuitry and layout have been significantly reworked from the ground up to improve the design and simplify the overall toolhead setup.
Unlike CAN-based toolboards, the Nitehawk-SB v2 uses USB communication to the Raspberry Pi, which makes it easier to install, configure, and troubleshoot for users already familiar with standard Klipper printer setups. This makes it an excellent choice for builders who want the convenience of an all-in-one toolhead board without the extra complexity of CAN wiring and configuration.
The board integrates the major components directly onto the toolhead PCB, reducing wiring clutter and improving reliability. With onboard input shaping support, fan diagnostics, and a secondary USB port, the Nitehawk-SB v2 is built for performance, convenience, and flexibility.
Key Features
Designed specifically for the Voron Stealthburner toolhead.
Uses USB communication instead of CAN for simpler setup.
Integrated STM32G0B1 MCU.
Integrated TMC2209 stepper driver.
Built in ADXL345 accelerometer for input shaping.
Onboard USB hub for added connectivity.
Simplified wiring with only 24V power and USB required.
Custom cable designed for drag chain use or umbilical configurations.
Tach compatible fan ports for improved diagnostics and safety.
Secondary USB port for connecting an additional toolhead device.
Benefits
The Nitehawk-SB v2 is ideal for users who want a cleaner, more integrated Stealthburner toolhead build. By combining multiple functions into one board, it reduces the amount of wiring inside the toolhead and helps streamline assembly. The USB-based connection also makes it easier to get running compared to more complex toolhead communication systems.
